Play with Us
The Auckland Symphony Orchestra is always happy to welcome members or volunteers who are able to help us with our performances. Musicians will need to demonstrate at least a grade 7 playing ability.
At the moment we are particularly keen to hear from players of the following:
- Violin
Rehearsals
Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings from 7.20pm until 9.45pm at our rehearsal venue in Takapuna.
Concerts
We perform at last 7 concerts each year at the Auckland Town Hall and the Bruce Mason Centre.
Membership fees
Our members pay an annual subscription of $145 (incl GST).

If you are interested in becoming a member of the ASO, please complete the Expression of Interest form (button below). We will invite you to attend a rehearsal so you can meet us and we can assess your proficiency.
