Last Night of the Proms 2024

The Auckland Symphony Orchestra brings the best loved musical homage to Britain to life with a special double performance of Last Night of the Proms at the Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna.
From regal procession music to much-loved television tunes, this crowd favourite show featuring the sounds of England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland are bound to take you on a musical journey to all parts of the United Kingdom in an unforgettable evening.
Together with a pipe band, highland dancers, Harbour Voices choir and vocal soloist Christina Ellison performing cherished classics, the Auckland Symphony Orchestra will delight with a programme filled with nostalgia, regal touches and plenty of laughs.
Led by maestro Emma Featherstone, expect an extravagant atmosphere created by over 100 performers and the energy of you, our enthusiastic audience.
This year we’re on the hunt for the best dressed patrons, with a chance of being crowned 2024 LNOP royalty. Prizes for those who embrace the spirit of a bygone era and wow with show-stopping costumes.
So grab your flag, your tweed suit or finest threads and join us for all the musical fanfare!
